Murphysboro Mud Monster

If you’re not afraid to get a little muddy, and want to participate in a challenging race to test your strength and endurance than the Murphysboro Mud Monster is the ultimate test! A mud run is a non-traditional event consisting of military-style obstacles and – you guessed it – plenty of muddy water! Mud pits, rope ladders, and climbing walls are just a few of the obstacles you’ll face on the course. This race is an individual competition for physically fit participants over the age of 13. All participants must sign a waiver or have a waiver signed by their guardian if under 18.
The Murphysboro Mud Monster will be run in 4 Waves. Registration starts at 7:30 AM on May 14th at Riverside Park. The first wave of people will start at 9 AM, second wave at 9:20 AM, third wave at 9:40 AM, and the fourth and final wave at 10:00 AM.
